Each company does call the process differently, trying to "register" the name and so, get royalties for the system....

In fact the system exist since long time for small units to make musical instruments, walking sticks, furniture and other wood pieces...etc...
For construction material, it is obvious one needs BIGGER units to do this 'process'.
